Born and raised in New York, Sassy Dumornay received her B.A. in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of Albany, followed by a Juris Doctorate from Touro Law School. Ms. Dumornay began her legal career as an Agency Attorney for the Administration for Children Services in Brooklyn, New York and later pursued her career in private practice. She is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern District of New York. Sassy Dumornay has been recognized in the National Black Lawyers Top 40 under 40. She is a member of Queens County Bar Association and Suffolk County Bar Association.

She is committed to advocating for clients despite any obstacles in the way. She believes in building a rapport with each client with an end goal of zealously advocating for them. Ms. Dumornay has represented clients in complex matrimonial, family law, and criminal cases. When she’s not practicing law she spends her time traveling with family and friends.
